<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a game by reading data recorded in a card. <P>SOLUTION: A card game device 10 comprises two large-sized panel displays 12, a main control part 14 for controlling the display of the large-sized panel displays 12, and a plurality of terminal devices 16a-16h communicably connected to the main control part 14. A player purchases an IC card 18 and eleven sheets of soccer player cards 20 having the photos of soccer players printed thereon. When the player arranges the soccer player cards 20 on the soccer player card arrangement panel 24 of the terminal device 16, an internal image sensor reads the card data recorded on the rear surface of the soccer player cards 20. Data of soccer players forming a team are prepared from the soccer card data, and a game is started.
