PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system fitted in the bottom wall of a fuel tank, with a fuel pump installed in the fuel tank, simplifying the structure of installing the fuel pump in the fuel tank, simplifying the sealing structure in the fuel pump, reducing the sliding resistance and sliding abrasion in the fuel pump, and preventing electric short-circuiting in the fuel pump. SOLUTION: This fuel supply system 2 is fitted to the bottom wall of the fuel tank 1 of the motor-cycle. A lid member 10 closes an opening part 1a formed in the bottom wall of the fuel tank 1. The fuel pump 20 is installed horizontally along the lid member 10 at the bottom of the fuel tank 1. A suction filter 70 is extended in the substantially same direction as the direction of installing the fuel pump horizontally along the lid member 10 outside the lid member 10. A terminal 17 is electrically connected to the fuel pump 20 and an electric device such as a center gauge through a lead wire 18, and installed at the substantially same height as the end of the fuel pump 20 on the upper side of the fuel tank 1.
