PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce data for a reference table used for determining the combination of each of performance elements in a slot machine. SOLUTION: With starting of a game as a moment, a role forming lottery is carried out (S3). Based on the result of the lottery, the kind of an internal winning role is discriminated (S10). Whereas, depending on whether a bonus role forming flag is in an ON state or an OFF state, the kind of a game state is discriminated (S11). In the case of carrying out a performance lottery, with the combination of both of the kind of the discriminated internal winning role and kind of a game state as a parameter, the reference table corresponding to the combination is selected for each performance element (S12). Referring to each reference table selected for each of the performance elements, the performance mode of each performance element is each determined by a lottery independently (S13).
