The device has locally separate sensor fields (18, 20, 22, 24) with a part logically linked with one another. The logically linked sensor fields are displaced in a horizontal direction. A recess surrounds a control unit e.g. locking cylinder, which is partially surrounded by the sensor fields, where the recess contains three sensor fields. A microprocessor is provided for realizing the logic functions of the sensor fields.
