摘要 <p num="1"><br/><br/><br/>The invention relates to an indirect optical free-space communications system <br/>for the broadband transmission of high-speed data in means of transport, in <br/>particular in aircraft. Said system comprises a transmitter (11, 12) with a <br/>light source that can be modulated and a receiver (5a, 5b, 7a, 7b) with a <br/>photo detector, in order to receive light that is emitted from the transmitter <br/>(11, 12) and to convert it into an electric signal. The transmitter (11, 12) <br/>and the receiver are directed onto at least one common surface (8a, 8b), which <br/>reflects the light emitted from the transmitter (11, 12) before it reaches the <br/>receiver. The free space communications system is cellular and comprises <br/>several cells (Z1, Z2), each of which has a transmitter (11 and 12) and at <br/>least one corresponding receiver (5a, 5b and 7a, 7b), said cells (Z1, Z2) <br/>being configured in such a way that crosstalk with a respective adjoining cell <br/>is prevented. The cells (Z1, Z2) are thus independent of one another.<br/>
