PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipolar battery which prevents generation of the distance between electrodes and rupture of the outer package even if a gas is generated inside. SOLUTION: The battery is provided with a gas diffusion means in a current collector, and further with a gas discharge means for a sealing part in the sealing part and/or with a gas discharge means for a outer package in the outer package.
