PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire an optimal image out of images of a plurality of monitoring cameras and to improve image data communication efficiency. SOLUTION: A host computer 11 of a monitoring camera system 2 comprises an image memory 22 for accumulating image data received from a plurality of monitoring cameras 10, a moving amount detection unit 28 for analyzing the received image data to detect the moving amount of an object, and a priority determination unit 29 for determining a priority in the case of transmitting image data to external equipment based on a result of detecting the moving amount.
