PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester block copolymer with excellent heat resistance, water resistance and impact resistance, which can be used for various purposes requiring flexibility and has excellent moldability to be molded by various methods including blow molding. SOLUTION: The polyester block copolymer is prepared by either simultaneously mixing or mixing during the reaction process of the following compounds: (A) a crystaline aromatic polyester, (B) a lactone compound, (C) a carbodiimide compound and/or (D) an epoxy compound having at least 2 epoxy groups in the same molecule and, if necessary, (E) a polyfunctional compound having at least 3 carboxy and hydroxy groups and/or their ester forming groups.
