PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle capable of securing the slidability of a headrest driving mechanism of a sliding structure and preventing lowering head part constraint property at the time of a collision. SOLUTION: A seat back 12 has a support bracket 60 for inserting a stay 15 of a headrest 13, a sliding guide bracket 65 for supporting the support bracket 60 to be movable in the vertical direction, and a headrest driving mechanism 67, etc. The headrest driving mechanism 67 drives the support bracket 60 to incline to a front side, while the support bracket 60 moves from a reference position toward an ascending position when a pressure receiving member 75 moves to a rear side. The sliding guide bracket 65 is provided with a pressing part 70 and a horizontal direction regulating part 71. The pressing part 70 energizes the support bracket 60 toward an upper frame member 32.
