<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales management device and a sales management method for always providing an electronic appliance operating by latest firmware to a user and performing sales management at every sales outlet. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes steps of downloading, via a communication line, the firmware of the electronic appliance which has been bought by the user in a sales outlet of the electronic appliance to provide the electronic appliance with the firmware installed therein to the user, acquiring information on the user who has bought the electronic appliance, and transmitting the information on the sold electronic appliance and the user who has bought it to the server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
