PREDICTION MODEL SELECTION DEVICE, PREDICTION MODEL SELECTION METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction model selection device, a prediction model selection method and its program properly evaluate prediction accuracy of one or more cycles by considering a delivery lead time and the like in inventory management to appropriately select one prediction model from a plurality of prediction models.

SOLUTION: An evaluating parameter setting part 110 sets an accumulation object start cycle and an accumulation object end cycle of a prediction amount of a commodity. A prediction result evaluation value calculation part 120 calculates a prediction accumulation amount and an actual accumulation amount in the past in accumulation object cycles interposed between both the cycles to calculate a prediction error from the difference between them, and then calculates evaluation values of the respective prediction models in a predetermined evaluation period on the basis of the prediction error. A prediction model selection part 130 selects one prediction model from the plurality of prediction models stored in a database 100 according to the respective evaluation values.
