摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical device in which reinforcement in members is unnecessary and the number of vapor deposition steps is not increased in the manufacturing process of an optical device including steps of stepwisely layering and adhering planar glass members subjected to film forming treatment and cutting and dividing the layered body into a plurality of pieces at a predetermined inclination angle, and to provide an optical device. SOLUTION: The method comprises: a layered body forming step; a cutting step of cutting the layered body A into layered divisions B; a first mirror surface processing step; a forming step of an actual fixed layered body C; a forming step of a layered division D; a second mirror surface processing step; a cutting step of cutting and dividing the layered division along a first cut line L1 parallel to the cut plane as well as cutting and dividing the body along a second cut line L2 crossing the first cut line and located in a position avoiding a temporary adhesive layer by an adhesive 55 so as to form an optical device connected body; and a separating step of dissolving and removing the adhesive constituting the optical device connected body to separate into individual optical devices.
