Multiconductor flat strip cable production, useful for computers and control systems, by enveloping stretched conductor section with highly elastic synthetic plastic insulator

Production of multiconductor cable, especially a flat strip cable (10) consisting of conductor bundle (24) in an insulated envelope (12) of parallel electrical conductors (11), is claimed. Conductors (11) are fixed in two separated bundle regions. A stretched conductor section is included which is enveloped by a highly elastic synthetic plastic by a casting process. An independent claim is included for a device for production of the cable involving a casting process.
