<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user management device and a user management method, allowing a user to easily execute a procedure of user registration or identification. <P>SOLUTION: By reading an ID of a wireless tag loaded in an object possessed by the user and registering it as a user ID, the user registration is performed.
