PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an ad hoc mode with which radio terminal apparatuses make direct communication with each other with satisfactory convenience without forcing an complicated operation on a user. SOLUTION: In an information network, a communication apparatus 20 such as an SIP server provided on an Internet 10 or a LAN 11 or the like manages communication between a plurality of radio terminals 40 or communication terminals 12. In this network, the communication apparatus 20 monitors the status of start of communication between the plurality of radio terminals 40, and setting information required for direct communication by radio between these radio terminals 40 are distributed from the communication apparatus 20 to each of the radio communication terminals 40, thereby starting the direct communication between the radio terminals 40.
