PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission path repeater which suppresses decrease of throughput even when repeating to a transmission path with lower transmission rate. SOLUTION: A first transmission path received data compression part 121 converts received data into a corresponding management data identifier if the received data is OOB to the received data from a first transmission path 2, converts the received data into a corresponding management data identifier if the received data is Primitive, performs 10b/8b conversion if the received data is actual data to be transmitted, accumulates the received data in a first transmission path received data buffer 122 and a second transmission path transmitting data generation part 12 arranges pieces of the same kind of data which are continuously received in one packet from the data in the first transmission path received data buffer 122, generates a packet to which a flag for identifying management data and the actual data is added and transmits the packet from a transmitting packet buffer 13 by a second transmission path transmitting part 14.
