摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the static posture of the head gimbal assembly (HGA) with high precision. SOLUTION: A vector group is formed constituting the shortest path of the HGA from its initial posture 181 to its estimated final posture 184. The vector group comprises various displacement vectors to give various changes in the static posture of the HGA at a unit irradiation of a laser beam on it. The displacement vectors are synthesized by sequentially selecting the displacement vectors which give the estimated posture closest to the target beginning from the initial posture to the target. The irradiation position relevant to the displacement vector included in the vector group is applied with irradiation of the units matching the number of the displacement vectors. Measuring the static posture after the irradiation and correcting the displacement vector, high precision posture correction is made by forming another vector group which constitutes the shortest path.
