PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately manage the correspondence between removed packed coins, and replenished loose coins for change. SOLUTION: This packed coin storage 1 is provided with a container main body 1a and packed coin drawers 10 to 12 which are freely drawn to this main body 1a. Each of those drawers 10 to 12 is provided with a plurality of packed coin storage parts for respectively storing the specific denominations of packed coins. The storage 1 is provided with a detection means 18 for detecting the presence/absence of the packed coins for each of the storage parts of the drawers 10 to 12. A control part 16 of the storage 1 transmits the detection result of the detection means 18 to a control unit 36 of a coin change unit 3. When taken-apart coins acquired by releasing the packing of the packed coins to be taken out are inputted to an input port 30, the control unit 36 compares the denominations and number of the taken-apart coins discriminated by a discriminating means 31 with the denominations and number of the packed coins to be take out to be specified based on the transmitted detection result, and decides the correspondence of both of them.
