PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material excellent for maintaining the light irradiated surface while emitting less odor, and provide its developing method. SOLUTION: The silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material contains non-photosensitive aliphatic carboxylic acid silver salt particles, photosensitive silver halides particles, a silver ion reducing agent, and a binder on a support base. The imaging material of this invention contains compound fine particles dried at the heat developing temperature or lower in the photosensitive layer and the non-photo-sensitive layer on the support base.
