摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure torque precisely by correcting the error of reflection light data from a pair of reflectors generated from the precision error of an A/D converter. SOLUTION: Laser beams from a laser beam outputting device are applied to the surface of a rotor in which a pair of reflectors are arranged. The reflection light is received by a light transmitter/receiver, is converted to a voltage signal by a pair of photodetectors, and is A/D-converted by a pair of A/D converters. The correlation processing means of a signal processor calculates the amount of torsion of each rotor, on the basis of the reflection light data of the rotor for a plurality of times inputted from an input signal processing means and stored at an input data storage section. A means for calculating the amount of correction torsion calculates the amount of correction torsion, where an error generated by the precision error of the pair of A/D converters included in the amount of torsion of the rotor for a plurality of times calculated by the correlation processing means is corrected.
