PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical equipment capable of reducing abnormal sound caused by driving of a motor. SOLUTION: In a driving part equipped with a driving base plate 10 provided with a motor M and a gear train 20, and a base plate cover 30 fixed on the driving base plate 10 and covering over the gear train 20, the base plate cover 30 is formed of resin material whose specific gravity is within a range from 1 to 2, and the driving base plate 10 is formed of high specific gravity resin material whose specific gravity is larger than that of the material forming the base plate cover 30, whereby the characteristic frequency of the driving base plate 10 is moved to prevent the driving base plate 10 from resonating with the vibration of the base plate cover 30 and make the abnormal sound caused by the driving of the motor M low.
