PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert a mechanical signal into an electric signal in a simple structure in a piezo-electric detector used for measurement of pressure, force, acceleration and the like. SOLUTION: The piezo-electric detector comprises: a piezo-electric element having a curved substrate 1, a piezo-electric layer 2 and an electrode layer 3; and a charge amplifier 4 connected to the electrode layer. The piezo-electric element may be spherical-arc. The piezo-electric body layer 2 used for the piezo-electri element is adopted from one material from among titanium acid lead zirconate (PZT), lead titanate, lithium niobate, niobic acid tantalum, strontium titanate or barium titanate.
