PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker making a user realize the amount of energy (calorie) of rice consumed for healthy dietary life with consideration of energy intake. SOLUTION: The rice cooker has a weight sensing means 40 for sensing the total weight of a cooked material in a pot, a control portion for calculating the weight of the cooked material by an output signal of the weight sensing means 40 and performing arithmetical operation by multiplying the amount of weight changed by the energy amount of the cooked material per unit weight, and a display portion 50 displaying the arithmetic result of the control portion in the unit of calorie or kilocalorie.
