<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing tape which is cheap but can confirm a state of article sealing without depending on visual checks, and an article using it. <P>SOLUTION: Before cutting this sealing tape 1A, the sensitive magnetic elements produce magnetic reversal by a large Barkhausen effect when a predetermined ac electric field is applied. If the sealing tape 1A is cut along the cutting line 3 together with its tape base 2 and magnetic strips 4, the magnetic strips 4 become too short to produce magnetic reversal. Thus, it is possible to find whether the sealing has been opened or not by detecting this magnetization reversal with a coil. Since this tape can be manufactured only by adhering magnetic strips 4 on the tape base 2 without using complicated circuits, it can be manufactured at a low cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
