PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic transducer which can radiate an acoustic wave radiated from the back surface forward by a reflecting plate and which can improve remarkably a sound pressure to the installation area of an ultrasonic speaker, by comparing with the case where a conventional acoustic wave reflecting plate is used in an electrostatic type ultrasonic transducer of push-pull system. SOLUTION: In the electrostatic type ultrasonic transducer of the push-pull system, a through hole is provided at the central part of a circular shape fixed electrode. Also, the acoustic wave reflecting plate is provided on the back surface of the ultrasonic transducer. The ultrasonic wave radiated from the back surface of the ultrasonic transducer is reflected by the acoustic wave reflecting plate, and radiated to the front surface of the ultrasonic transducer through the through hole.
