PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently receive electromagnetic waves with suppressing the energy loss. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave receiver 10 has a board 12, at least two electrodes on the board 12, a carbon nanotube 18 with the ends mounted on the two electrodes, a heating body 20 connected to the two electrodes for forming a closed electric circuit with the carbon nanotube 18, and metal pads 22, 24 covering at least part of the ends of the carbon nanotube 18.
