PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning system or the like capable of providing satellite predicted position information with a longer valid period than orbit information in a satellite signal. SOLUTION: The information providing device 20 has a satellite orbit information acquiring means for acquiring the satellite orbit information 252 indicating a satellite orbit of a positional information satellite 101 or the like, a satellite initial speed information generating means for generating satellite initial speed information on the basis of the satellite orbit information 252, a satellite initial position information generating means for generating satellite initial position information on the basis of the satellite orbit information 252, an acceleration affecting physical quantity information storing means for storing acceleration affecting physical quantity information indicating a physical quantity affecting acceleration of the positional information satellite, a satellite acceleration information generating means for generating satellite acceleration information indicating the acceleration of the positional information satellite on the basis of the satellite initial speed information, the satellite initial position information, and the acceleration affecting physical quantity information, and a satellite predicted position information generating means for generating the satellite predicted position information on the basis of the satellite initial speed information, the satellite initial position information, and the satellite acceleration information.
