PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the miniaturization of both of a sensor element part and a detector, and the constitutional simplification of the detector in a detection technique of a target substance due to wavelength spectral characteristics. SOLUTION: A plurality of light sources for irradiating a sensing element with light, and a plurality of photodetectors for detecting the light from the sensing element, a plurality of the light sources and a plurality of photodetectors are arranged on the same substrate so as to correspond in a 1:1 relation and the wavelengths of beams of light incident on the respective photodetectors are differentiated by a spectral diffraction means to obtain an absorbing wavelength spectrum.
