A device for attachment to a drafting board which is movable between horizontal and upright positions. The device includes an X-bar and a Y-bar carrying respective carriages to facilitate plotting points on the board with reference to a zero co-ordinate. When the board is tilted a removable balance weight is added to compensate for the weight of the moving parts.
