PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the speeding up of a printing speed without inviting the deterioration of a picture quality by a tilting recording. SOLUTION: Respective driving periods of time are estimated based on a driving time prediction by driving command values for an LF (subsidiary scanning) and a CR (main scanning), and driving time differential information of an actual driving state to the command values. A cross control is performed by starting the CR driving when the remaining driving time for the LF becomes less than the printing region reaching time for the CR. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
