PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic bread maker allowing a user to load a preferred amount of sub-materials such as raisins and nuts. SOLUTION: This automatic bread maker is provided with a baking chamber 1 having a heater 2, a bread pan 3 detachably mounted in the baking chamber 1, a kneading vane 6 provided at the inner bottom part of the bread pan 3 and driven by a motor 4, a control device 9 controlling the bread baking, a notification device 12 notifying the finish of the cooking or the like, and a sub-material loading device 8 loading the sub-materials such as the raisins and the nuts in the bread pan 3. In the kneading process, this bread maker allows the notification device 12 to notify the loading of the sub-materials simultaneously with actuating the sub-material loading device 8, and the loading of the sub-materials is reported by the notification device 12 simultaneously with the automatic loading of the sub-materials such as the raisins and nuts, so that the user can understand the timing of the loading of the sub-materials and additionally mix the sub-materials into the dough according to the preference.
