PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moxa cautery lighting device which can safely and surely light moxa and can perform even a moxa cautery on the back by a user himself alone. SOLUTION: A switch is provided on a handle which is gripped by hand, and also, the distal end of a barrel tube on the extension of the handle is bent at a right angle, and a filament is provided on its external end. Then, a piece of moxa is lit by the heating of the filament. Also, the barrel tube is made bendable, and a small mirror is attached. Thus, while the positions of a heating element and the piece of moxa are checked by reflecting the images on another fixed mirror, lighting is performed, and danger for burn and so forth around the skin on which the piece of moxa is placed is eliminated.
