The invention relates to a rotating door drive device (6) which is used to drive a rotating door wing (4, 5) which is pivotably mounted about a vertical axis (14) by means of a hinge (10). Said rotating door drive device comprises a drive unit (18) which can be coupled to the rotating door wing (4, 5) by means of a first joint connection (20) arranged on a stationary first maintaining device (68) and by means of a second joint connection (21) arranged on a second maintaining device (90), and is embodied in such a manner that the distance between the two joint connections (20, 21) can be altered in order to drive the rotating door wing (4, 5) in a motorised manner. According to the invention, in order to counteract problems in the connection to the ground rising therefrom, at least one of the joint connections (20, 21) comprises a rotating-tilting joint (42, 43) which enables a relative rotation of the drive unit (18) in relation to the respective maintaining device (68, 90) about a rotational axis (24, 28) and also tilting of said rotational axis (24, 28) in relation to the drive unit (18) or in relation to the respective maintaining device (68, 90) or a tilting of the drive unit (18) in relation to the respective maintaining device (68, 90). |
