A method of realizing the preview of mutilcasting video program in the wide-band access network comprises: the preview authority of the user is stored in the equipment of the access layer, and the equipment of the access layer agilely contorl the user to have a video preview according to the said preview authority. The present invention realizes the function of the preview of the mutilcasting program in the wide-band access network in order to increase the attraction of the mutilcasting video service to the domestic consumer. The present invention realizes the agile contorl to the authority of the preview of the mutilcasting program in order to increase effectively the efficiency of the process and the efficiency of the resource utilization. The present invention also provides a system of realizing the preview of mutilcasting video program in the wide-band access network.
