<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical packet exchange capable of improving a band utilization rate at the time of transmission without reducing a label recognition rate at the time of recognition. <P>SOLUTION: An optical packet exchange 100 comprises an optical switch 103 for receiving an optical packet including a label comprised of optical codes and outputting the optical packet to any one of a plurality of transfer destinations, an optical spread encoding processing unit 106 for applying optical spread encoding processing to the label included in the optical packet, and an optical correlation processing unit 105 for detecting a correlation between an optical spreading code obtained by the optical spread encoding processing unit 106 and a plurality of transfer destination codes correlated to the plurality of transfer destinations, and for controlling the optical switch 103, so that the optical packet is outputted to a transfer destination corresponding to a transfer destination code of the strongest correlation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
