<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equalizer circuit capable of facilitating achievement of a high frequency by realizing compensation characteristics for increasing signal attenuation at a low frequency and reducing signal attenuation at a high frequency and executing compensation adjustment based on the control of a low-frequency signal whose relative control is simple. <P>SOLUTION: This equalizer circuit is provided with a distribution means for distributing analog transmission signals Vin to two signals, an attenuation means 1 for attenuating a high-frequency component for one signal distributed by the distribution means to pass a low-frequency component, a subtraction means 2 for attenuating a high-frequency component from the other signal distributed by the distribution means by the attenuation means to pass a low-frequency component, and an amplification means A3 for amplifying an entire signal-reduced gain obtained from the subtraction means to output it as an output signal Vout.
