<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for linear motor which enables sensorless drive without thrust shock in switching of an amplifier, in a linear motor where the stroke of a moving member is long and which is equipped with a stator that is divided into a plurality of segments arranged continuously. <P>SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a means which calculates the voltage and the current in a rectangular coordinate system on the basis of the position of a magnetic pole, based on the estimated position from voltage command values to be supplied to a plurality of stators and a current detected value, a means which estimates the position and the velocity from the above voltage and the current, and a position adjuster which adjusts a control reference position, based on the estimated position. This distributes the current commands outputted from one speed controller to each stator, based on a control reference axis, and directs an appropriate voltage to the driving amplifier of each stator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
