PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failures caused by the collision of a head floating from a disk due to an impact from the outside with the disk by elastic force of a suspension. SOLUTION: A disk device for recording and reproducing is provided with a high rigidity electrostatic connection member 11 having rigidity higher than that of the suspension 5 with respect to deflection in a direction vertical to the surface of the disk 2 caused by the impact from the outside. When the suspension 5 is deformed in a direction away from the disk during occurrence of the impact, the high rigidity electrostatic connection member 11 is coupled to the suspension 5, thereby preventing the collision of a head 4 with the disk 2 caused by restoring force of the suspension.
