PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelter display system capable of reliably verifying present locations and nearby shelters. SOLUTION: The shelter display system 1 is provided with QR codes 7 (7A and 7B) attached to general fixed structures such as telegraph poles 5 and fixed structures for the display of shelter information such as shelter guidance signboards 6; cellular phones 3 for imaging the QR codes, reading locational information 7a and information 7b on the other side of communications carried by the QR codes, and transmitting the information to an information providing server 2 via the Internet 4; and the information providing server 2 for transmitting map information including locations corresponding to received locational information to the cellular phones 3. A map 10 displayed on a screen of a display part 3a of a cellular phone 3 also displays marks 11 and 12 indicating a present location and the locations of nearby shelters.
