PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the failure in call establishment although an idle slot exists because a slave set selects a slot of a speech channel only on the basis of idle slot information of a repeater. SOLUTION: The repeater 01 notifies a slave set 02 subordinate to the repeater about the idle slot information of a master set with which the repeater 01 is synchronized in addition to its own idle slot information. With this configuration, the failure in call establishment although an idle slot still exists can be prevented, and slot selection in the slave set 02 subordinate to the repeater can be made efficient, thereby decreasing a call loss rate.
