PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a force applied from a metal frame due to shrink-fitting or press-insertion, to improve productivity, to prevent the deterioration of performance, and to avoid the occurrence of a quality problem. SOLUTION: In an electric apparatus that shrink-fits or press-inserts a motor stator 1 to the metal frame 5, the size of the outside diameter of the motor stator is changed by arranging the caulked part 7 of laminated core steel plates of the motor stator 1 in the vicinity of the metal frame at the external periphery of the motor stator, thus shrink-fitting or press-inserting the motor stator.
