PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply apparatus in which conversion rate of a voltage/current conversion means can be set depending on the output value, stability of output is enhanced in varying the voltage over a wide area, overshoot and intermittent oscillation are suppressed, and rising time of power supply output is shortened easily. SOLUTION: Since a voltage/current conversion means is constituted of a nonlinear voltage drop means, conversion rate varies depending on the output value and variation rate of output for variation in control voltage is made uniform regardless of the output value.
