<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-quality treated water by solving problems of conventional fluidized bed carrier biological treatment method and membrane separation activated sludge method and efficiently treating wastewater containing a high-concentration organic matter by suppressing the necessary capacity of a treatment tank and preventing the clogging of an immersed membrane without requiring a coagulant for surplus sludge removal. <P>SOLUTION: After organic wastewater is treated in a first aerobic biological treatment tank 1 retaining fluid carriers carrying microorganisms, the wastewater is treated in a second aerobic biological treatment tank 2 retaining fluid carriers carrying microorganisms and floating activated sludge, and then separated into supernatant water and settled sludge in a settling tank 3. The supernatant water of the settling tank 3 is introduced into a separation membrane immersing tank 4 to separate sludge accompanied by the supernatant water, and the permeate of a separation membrane module 4A is discharged as treated water. The settled sludge of the settling tank 3 and the separated sludge of the separation membrane immersing tank 4 are returned to a second aerobic biological treatment tank 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
