PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a period until communication with a wireless LAN access point is attained after a power save mode is restored to a power-on mode. SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 20 including a first operating mode and a second operating mode whose power consumption is smaller than that of the first operating mode includes: a storage means for storing channel information denoting a channel used for communication with a prescribed wireless LAN access point 40; and a control means for firstly using the channel indicated by the channel information to search the prescribed wireless LAN access point 40 as its control when the operating mode of the wireless communication apparatus restores from the second operating mode into the first operating mode.
