PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal blower capable of being miniaturized, increasing air quantity, and reducing noise by suppressing the spreading angle of a scroll to a small extent. SOLUTION: This centrifugal blower 1 is provided with a centrifugal multi-blade fan having many blades around a rotary shaft of a motor 3 and blowing air sucked from the axial direction to the outside of radius and a scroll casing 2 storing the multi-blade fan and forming a ventilation passage 4 in spiral form in which air blowing out of the fan flows. A scroll face 22a on a motor side of the scroll casing forming the ventilation passage is gradually, downward, and vertically spread from a winding start part a to a winding end part b of the ventilation passage in the spiral form.
