PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium in which surface smoothness is good. SOLUTION: A data track pattern and a servo pattern are formed at least in one side of base material by a concavo-convex pattern having a plurality of convex parts. In each of the concave parts of the concavo-convex pattern, non magnetic material is buried. A concavo-convex pattern 20sb (an (A) concavo-convex pattern) constituting the servo pattern (a burst pattern) is equipped with a plurality of convex parts 21sb, 21sb, ... 21ax, 21ax, ...(the convex parts for the servo) formed corresponding to the servo data. At least the part of the convex parts for the servos (the convex part 21ax) among the multiple convex parts for the servo is configured with a B concavo-convex pattern having multiple convex parts 31sb, 31sb, ...
