摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified polypropylene resin hardly causing reduction of molecular weight, having a large graft content, and produced in excellent productivity. SOLUTION: The modified polypropylene resin is obtained by modifying (A) 100 pts. wt. polypropylene resin with (B) an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or a derivative thereof, (C) a radically reactive monomer containing an unsaturated bond different from the component (B) and (D) a radical initiator. The modified polypropylene resin satisfies the following relational expressions (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv): 0.7≤[η]<SB>MPP</SB>≤2.0 (i); 0≤Tm(PP)-Tm(MPP)≤15 (ii); 0.8≤MG≤5 (iii); and 0<EG/MG≤1 (iv) äwherein, [η]<SB>MPP</SB>(dL/g) is intrinsic viscosity [η] (at 135°C in decalin); Tm(PP) (°C) is the melting point of the polypropylene resin (A); Tm(MPP) (°C) is the melting point of the modified polypropylene resin; MG (wt.%) is a grafted amount of the unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or the derivative thereof; EG (wt.%) is a grafted amount of the radically reactive monomer containing the unsaturated bond different from the component (B)}.
