PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side sill protector capable of preventing the snow from stagnating inside. SOLUTION: The body 21 of the protector installed on the side of a side sill 3 is formed from an upper extension part 31, side face parts 32 formed on the sides of the sill 3, and lower extension parts 33 extending from the bottom edge of each side face part 32 toward the vehicle center OX direction. A clip mounting part 47 furnished with a clip inserting hole 46 is formed on a tongue piece 36 provided in the upper part of the protector body part 21. A closure part 22 is provided capable of being folded by PP hinge(s) 61 relative to the protector body part 21, and a closed section shape is established by the closure part 22 and the protector body part 21 in the folded condition 64. A filling hole 81 is formed in the closure part 22, and a foaming agent is poured into a hollow part 82 surrounded by the protector body part 21 and the closure part 22 and is left solidifying so as to produce a foam member 83.
