SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROBING ON MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method generating a program for operating an inspection probe usable on a machine tool. SOLUTION: The method and the system (10) generating the program for probing operations executable on a machine tool includes a probe module (16) interfaced with a computer aided manufacturing program (14). A feature part selected from a digital model is used for determining the feature part of a component for probing. The coordinates of those feature parts is used for generating instructions combined and interwoven with machining instructions for fabrication of the component.
