<p>A nail enamel characterized by containing (a) colloidal particles of a noble metal having a mean particle diameter of 10 to 100nm in a concentration of 5 to 50 % by mass based on the total amount of the enamel; and a two-pack type nail enamel consisting of a combination of the above nail enamel (the second fluid) and a base coating fluid (the first fluid) containing (b) a film-forming material and (c) water and/or an organic solvent. The invention aims at developing nail enamels which can be put into practical use and give coats of specular-gloss finish.</p>
